Dedicated to Improving Public Transit in Northwest Indiana
Although the RBA as it exists today has been around only since 2005, predecessor agencies have strived to provide public transportation for more than 25 years. The RBA is funded through monies provided by Regional Development Authority, federal and state grants and fare collections.
The RBA is a valuable asset to its partner agencies, and the RBA is able to provide the local match portion, thereby leveraging funds to obtain federal dollars that would otherwise be out of reach. This funding has been used to upgrade buses and equipment. You may access our annual reports or contact us for more detailed information.
